News

Grenada, March 29-31, 2011. The Ministry of Education has been applauded for developing an "excellent" Social and Life Skills curriculum. Selected primary teachers and guidance counselors participating in the pilot of the Social and Life Skills curriculum were involved in the workshop with Dr. Garmo and his wife Janice.

The workshop, under the theme "Cultivating Character", is significant to the successful inclusion of social and life skills programme in the refocused national curriculum. Read.

India, April 25, 2011: 97 community leaders at North Karnataka trained to demonstrate character while working with women and children.

India, January 19, 2011: 142 school principals were trained to implement character development at their schools in the state of Karnataka. They influence 42,500 students.

United States, June 3, 2009: Seminar provided to 30 Middle school teachers and administrators for one all-day seminar at Coatesville, Pennsylvania.

Participants included the leadership team from a local camp and a dedicated social worker who serves prisoners at local correctional facilities. He sees a critical need to encourage the families of the prisoners through character.

India, February 2009: Character Solutions presented to 31 firemen at Bangalore and 42 Principals in Mumbai.

Liberia, February 2009: Character Solutions presented to 116 Liberian street children. Team facilitators included youth workers from all over Liberia.

Bolivia, January 2009: Character Solutions presented at several schools in Bolivia to 262 educators.

India, September 08-December 08: major Character Solutions training imparted to community leaders and volunteers.

India, September 1-8, 2008: In India Character Solutions presented seminars to over 1,200 people in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

India, April 8, 2008: Character Solutions presented to staff members of the Bangalore Police Department responsible for helping women and children in distress.

 

Bolivia, February 16, 2008: Character Solutions seminar presented to 65 teachers and 14 assistants at Isabel Saavedra School. Conversations began over the idea to present the importance of character cultivation to the parents.

Bolivia, January 30-31, 2008: Character Solutions seminar presented to 20 teachers at Sinai Evangelical School.

Bolivia, January 21-22, 2008: Character Solutions seminar presented to 31 teachers at the Bolivian-Brasilian Baptist School.

Lithuania, November 2007: Character Solutions presented to 60 international English teachers at Klaipeda.

Romania, October 2007: Character Solutions presented to 81 teachers working with orphanages near Bucharest.

Romania, October 2007: Character Solutions presented to 70 teachers and staff, introduced to 100 parents, and on public television in Arad.
